REFERENCE: MUSIC - Opera – ‘Turandot’ by Giacomo Puccini

Turandot: opera in 3 acts, libretto by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni, based on the 1762 play of the same name by Carlo Gozzi, music by Giacomo Puccini, first performed on 25th April 1926 at the Teatro alla Scala, Milan.

Turandot is magnificent and spectacular; unfortunately never saw it on stage.
