The dramatics, the overwhelming and even disturbing simplicity of some of the tombs found in Catholic cemeteries, are here confronted with two distinct points of view, in accordance to the personal experiences and perceptions of each one of the directors.
A guided tour to several cemeteries, dominated by aesthetically doubtful tombs, in an obvious appeal to the romantic and self-commiserative part of ourselves. A part that comes to surface whenever we’re confronted with the world of the deceased, permanently in an emotional blackmail with the world of the living.
