Lisbon Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

In 1997, I was invited to organize the 1st Lisbon Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. I took on this challenge with considerable enthusiasm, and it has given me great pleasure that the event has attained international recognition and is now in its 11th edition and renamed as Queer Lisboa.
In the present, for personal and professional reasons, I no longer direct the Film Festival and no longer live in Lisbon. I am living now in Lucerne, Switzerland. Having been the founder of this Festival and its director from 1997 to 2004, and being still pretty much emotionally attached to it and to its team, my collaboration with the Queer Lisboa will perpetuate thru a text of mine in the Festival Program and the selection of one film per edition.

My new Atelier

Under the sign of Aries last weekend I've got the keys of my new atelier. I'm really glad about that because another New Year’s Resolution became reality.
Sharing some pictures of the space, still empty of course. What are making me feel so excite is the landscape around and my window's view.
Amazing because as today we've got a cloudy day the Mont Pilatus disappeared under the clouds, but I'm sure that it is there somewhere...

About 50m from my door I have a small river and a forest covering a hill. It couldn’t be better than a scenario for my photo production. Wait and check the future postings.

New Year’s Resolution

First New Year’s Resolution becoming reality was the confirmation of my exhibition SHOTS in Berlin next October 2007
As soon as dates and venue are confirmed all the information will be post and advertised here.
Due the coincidence of dates: I was planning go to Mexico to attempt the Day of the Dead (last week of October) my trip will be transferred for 2008
