Como eu tinha prometido no passado mês de Janeiro, a partir de agora em meu novo BLOG, cada mês será dedicado a uma cidade, região, ou país que visito.
Berlim é a cidade eleita e a edição de Fevereiro 2006, sem dúvida uma das minhas cidades preferidas.

Tenho de confessar que o dossier é imenso: 314 postings e mais de 1.000 fotografias. Nada a fazer, é mais forte do que eu e eu não consigo controlar-me e reduzir a informação.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS: The Night of the Long Knives


In June 1934, saw the wiping out of the SA's leadership and others who had angered Hitler in the recent past in Nazi Germany. After this date, the SS lead by Heinrich Himmler was to become far more powerful in Nazi Germany.

On the night of June 29th - June 30th 1934, units of the SS arrested the leaders of the SA and other political opponents. Men such as Gregor Strasser, von Schleicher and von Bredow were arrested and none of them had any connection with Röhm. The arrests carried on for 2 more nights.
Official records tally the dead at 77, though some 400 are believed to have been killed.

The SA was brought to heel and placed under the command of the army. Hitler received an oath of allegiance from all those who served in the army. Röhm was shot. Others were bludgeoned to death.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS: The Night of the Long Knives: The purge

With all these groups aligned against Röhm, Hitler decided to act. He ordered all SA leaders to attend a meeting at the Hanselbauer Hotel in Bad Wiessee near Munich.
On June 30 Hitler took personal command of Röhm's arrest. He then ordered Göring's Landespolizeigruppe General Göring and Himmler's Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler into action.

Alfred Rosenberg's diary provides an account:
With an SS escort detachment the Führer drove to Bad Wiessee and knocked softly on Röhm's door: “Message from Munich,” he said with disguised voice. “Well come in,” Röhm called to the supposed messenger, “the door is open.” Hitler tore open the door, fell on Röhm as he lay in bed, seized him by the throat and screamed, “You are under arrest, you swine.” Then he turned the traitor over to the SS. At first Röhm refused to get dressed.
The SS then threw his clothes in the Chief of Staff's face until he bestirred himself to put them on. In the room next door, they found young men engaged in homosexual activity. “And these are the kind who want to be leaders in Germany,” the Führer said trembling. (Spielvogel, 78)
In the following hours other SA leaders were also arrested, and many were shot out of hand.

Apparently Hitler intended to pardon Röhm, but eventually decided to have him executed. It is believed that Röhm was offered a chance of suicide but was eventually shot.
Hitler also used this purge of the SA to settle old scores: Third-Positionist, Gregor Strasser, former Bavarian Commissar and Triumvir Gustav von Kahr, former Chancellor Kurt von Schleicher and Conservative Revolutionary figure Edgar Jung, among others, were all murdered. The current Vice Chancellor, Franz von Papen, was put under house arrest.

On July 3, the Reich government decided upon the Law Regarding Measures of State Self-Defense, consisting of a single article simply declaring the "measures taken" to be "legal State self-defense."

Hitler announced the purge on 13 July, claiming 61 had been executed, 13 shot while resisting arrest, and 3 had committed suicide. In announcing the purge he stated, "If anyone reproaches me and asks why I did not resort to the regular courts of justice, then all I can say is this: In this hour I was responsible for the fate of the German people, and thereby I became the supreme judge (oberster Gerichtsherr) of the German people". - from William L. As a result of the purge, Hitler gained a measure of gratitude and support from the Reichswehr. On July 26th, the SS was made independent of the SA, with Himmler as its Reichsführer, answerable only to Hitler. Victor Lutze became the new leader of the SA, and it was soon marginalized in the Nazi power structure.

In Nazi-propaganda the purge was disguised as the suppression of a fictitious Röhm-Putsch, i. e. a coup d'etat of SA-leader Röhm against Hitler.

Others blame “extremists” who “distort” the “true” message of religion. Harris goes to the root of the problem: religion itself. Even moderate religion is a menace, because it leads us to respect and “cherish the idea that certain fantastic propositions can be believed without evidence”
Or, in Voltaire's words:
"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities"

I wasn’t in the mood to comment this kind of event, Yes, I’m talking about the Danish cartoons, but it is stronger than me: I CAN’T RESIST.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS


When I created my blog my primary intention was to post everything concerning my artwork, interests, to share my private collections, and to talk about several fetishes related subjects, about sexuality, about freedom, etc.

The idea was to post and post and post, regardless any order or rule: Well,this isn't me at all. As a contradictory person myself, I love and hate both Chaos and Order. But normally Order wins!

From now on, I'll collect from the archives all subjects concerning the same theme and post them again as an especial dossier: The first dossier will focus on a very sensitive subject: Fetish and Nazism.

A theme, which I refuse to give up just because of some kind of political correctness.
Clear your mind of all prejudice, hop inside the posts and try to realise that there is a deep difference between Fetish and Political Behaviour.

Try to discover how a Left Wing guy can carry on with his fetishes and play these kinds of nasty games.

I have much more to do with my life than just keeping up appearances!

Existe um momento na vida de cada um de nós em que pensamos ser o único no mundo. Somos então a única pessoa a fantasiar o tocar e ser tocado por outro homem, trocar carinhos, beijar, fazer amor ou fuder dependendo da tusa ou da ilusão... então conhecemos alguém ou alguma situação se nos é imposta e de um momento para outro todo um universo até então desconhecido se nos abre à frente.Sentimos estranhos e sós, abafados pelos nossos medos: Botas? Como é possível que tenham este poder de atração sobre mim? E por aí adiante...

Assim como o primeiro beijo, o primeiro homem, a primeira foda, veio também o primeiro a partilhar a mesma fantasia, a mesma paixão pelas botas militares, botas de polícias, o som abafado das botas a marchar, os seus exércitos...
os homens rudes e trabalhadores com suas botas de borracha...
sujos...
pescadores, bombeiros...
aí então, aparece alguém com um fantasia ainda mais requintada, mais sofisticada e mental, que acrescenta algo mais, algo de lúdico e que lateja em estado de potência.
Voltar às brincadeiras de infância ou adolescência onde rapazes brincam de matar uns aos outros, como herois e bandidos...
o castigo aos maus...
eles bem que merecem...
serem humilhados em suas poses e arrogâncias.

As vezes eu penso que filmes série B onde encontramos uma violência exagerada e barata, onde a morte que se morre é de plástico. São em tudo semelhantes aos filmes pornográficos, talvez a grande generalidade das pessoas não pensam sobre o quanto estes se tocam, os orgasmos atingidos nestes reproduzem os sons das cenas violentas nos outros e vice-versa, e são exatamente estas cenas violentas onde os bandidos são surpreendidos pela metralha, ou os orgamos excessivos que arrancam risos à plateia, sobretudo e quase apenas na audiência masculina.

Uma experiência plurisensorial, todos os sentidos alertas para o climax final...e afinal, não era apenas um no mundo...existimos e estamos espalhados por todos os continentes.

There is a moment in everyone’s life in which we believe to be unique in the whole world.
We are as if the only person who fantasizes touching and being touched by another man, changing affections, kissing, making love or fucking, depending on how horny you are or on your delusions…
so when we come face to face with somebody or with a given circumstance imposed upon us, all of the sudden a whole new universe, never before unveiled, is suddenly revealed.
We feel estranged and alone, muffled by our fears: Boots?
How it is possible that they have such an attractive power on me? And so on…

Along with the first kiss, the first man, the first fuck, came along the first one to share the same fantasy, the same passion for military boots, police boots, the sultry sound of marching boots, its armies...
the rough and working class men with their dirty rubber boots...
fishermen, firemen...
suddenly, someone comes along with an even more sophisticated fantasy, more cerebral, which adds something up, something playful and with a latent potential.
A revisit to our games played as children or adolescents, in which youngsters play of killing each other, of heroes and outlaws...
the evil must be punished...
they very much deserve it...
to be humiliated in their pose and arrogance.

I sometimes believe that series B movies, overflowing with exaggerated and cheap violence, where the died death is a plastic death, are in every way similar to pornographic films, perhaps the great majority of people don’t consider how much similarities there are here, the orgasms reached in these films reproduce the sounds of the violent scenes in the above mentioned, and vice versa, and it is these specific violent scenes, where outlaws are surprised by the shrapnel or the extreme orgasms, which pull out laughs from the audience, mainly and almost exclusively the masculine one.

A plural-sensorial experience, all senses alert towards the final climax... and after all, he wasn’t by himself in the world... we’re here and are spread by all continents.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS: TALKING ABOUT FETISH




FETISH (from French fétiche; from Portuguese feitiço; from Latin facticius, "to make") is a natural object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular an object created by people that has power over people.

Never forget that we are talking about Religion.
Although Freud's theory on fetishes may seem peculiar and was based on anecdotal evidence rather than empirical, he had discovered a critical aspect of human sexuality: the relationship between human orgasms and conditioning.
This is consistent with the theory that fetishism derives from behavioural imprinting in early childhood.It is also hypothesized that the modern world provides many opportunities for superstimulus based on objects that both mimic and exaggerate natural stimuli.

A SUPERSTIMULUS or SUPERRELEASER is an exaggerated version of a stimulus to which there is an existing response tendency, or any stimulus that elicits a response more strongly than the stimulus that normally releases it.
STIMULOS is something external that elicits or influences a physiological or psychological activity or response.

RE-ENACTING: O que é Re-enacting?


Re-enacting histórico, também chamado de "História ao Vivo", é a recriação dos eventos e do comportamento dos povos do passado.

Os Re-enactors, como passaremos a chamar aqueles que actuam e revivem um ou mais períodos escolhidos na história da humanidade, têm como objectivo tentar recriar as vidas e as situações que envolvem os povos que estudam ou que manifestam algum gosto ou curiosidade em particular.

Um Re-enactor pode ser qualquer pessoa, de qualquer sexo ou idade, desde um historiador, professor, aluno, aposentado ou apenas um curioso da história dos factos ou da história do próprio homem. Muitos re-enactors actuam e encaram este acto como um passatempo, porém muitos se dedicam a tempo inteiro tornando os Encontros e Eventos cada vez mais organizados e profissionais, aprofundando-se nas pesquisas, questionando a própria História e descobrindo permores que até então por ventura foram ignorados ou negligenciados.

Estes eventos ou Encontros, podem ser exposições públicas (por o exemplo, um airshow com velhos aviões em desuso, os eventos táticos (recriações de combate ou taticas de guerrilha) ou ainda a recriação de grandes batalhas históricas. Podemos assim dizer que os Re- enactors estabelecem uma ligação com o nosso passado. Mantêm a memória dos homens, das mulheres que viveram durante seu período de tempo como em um retrato vivo. Tentam inspirar nos povos de hoje uma paixão e uma compreensão da História e daqueles povos que viveram e morreram para nos deixar a herança que é o nosso Presente.

RE-ENACTING : What is Reenacting?


Historical reenacting, sometimes called "Living History", is the recreation of events and people of the past.

Reenactors study their chosen period or periods, then try to recreate the lives of the people they study. Many reenactors do this as a hobby, and participate in "events" several times a year.
These events may be public displays (for example at an airshow), tactical events (private re-recreations of combat), or public battles (reenactments of battles in the public eye).


Reenactors are a link to our past. They keep the memory of the men, women and children who lived during their time period of portrayal alive. They try to inspire in today's people a love and understanding of history, and of those people who lived and died to bring us to where we are today.

Como não era de estranhar, visto tratar-se de uma ideia requintada e diferente, em especial, os re-enactors da Segunda Guerra Mundial são muito mal interpretados e questionados sobre a sua ideia de hobby, curiosidade ou divertimento.

A maioria das pessoas não compreendem porque alguém teria prazer em vestir as roupas e uniformes de 60 anos atrás e deslocar-se pelo mundo a fora a gastar fortunas para passar dificuldades, encontrar-se em situações consideradas desconfortáveis apenas e só pelo prazer de reviver um periodo negro de nossa História.

Um jornalista Americano chegou mesmo a escrever que ”estes tipos precisam é de terapia” Típico comportamento de quem tem dificuldade em perceber o diferente e o inusitável.
Uma pesquisa recente entretanto, mostrou que são cerca de 6000 os re- enactors da Segunda Guerra Mundial só nos EUA, país onde esta actividade tem conhecido um desenvolvimento sem par.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS: RE-ENACTING: The WWII as a hobby



Many who hear about World War II reenactors have negative thoughts about the hobby.
For instance, most people can't understand why someone would want to dress up in clothing that went out of style 60 years ago, travel across the country to an event, then sit in a hole in the ground eating Spam in the middle of a thunderstorm.
One journalist was even heard saying that "those guys need therapy!"
A recent poll showed that around 6000 people are re-enacting World War II in the United States alone, as Americans, Russians, Germans, Polish, British, French, Canadian, and many other nationalities.
This number continues to grow rapidly.

DOSSIER ESPECIAL NAZIS: STUNTS





(A WAY TO RE-ENCATING)

A stunt is an unusual and difficult physical feat, or any act requiring a special skill, performed for artistic purposes in theatre or cinema. Stunts are a big part of many action movies. Before computer generated imagery special effects, there was no way of achieving these effects, except by using stunt performers who really would jump from car to car or hang from the edge of a skyscraper.

Stage Combat is the practice of creating the illusion of physical combat for plays, theater, or film. When a story or script calls for one character to act violently on another, stage combat is employed. The primary process of stage combat to create a visual and auditory picture which looks like real fighting, but in which none of the actors are harmed. This is done primarily by taking advantage of audience distance and fixed point of view, and by the actor's "faking" of appropriate strikes and responses.
Stage combat can include simple slaps and punches, basic hand to hand fighting, and advanced crafts such as swordplay, fighting with various weapons, and martial arts.
For example, if a script calls for one character to punch another in the face, the actor will place himself face to face with his partner, and then "throw" a punch which does not actually contact with the person he is "hitting." (the fist passes by the head, on the opposite side of the intended audience) At the same moment, the partner will jerk his head back as though he has been punched. Either one may also slap his hand against a soft part of their own body, creating a slapping noise, or knap. If the timing is correct, the illusion is very convincing, even for people watching at a very close distance.

There are literally dozens of variations just on a simple punch, and actors or choreographers choose the best one based on the story, the desired effect, and the placement of the audience.
In addition to using "fake" strikes, stage combat also often includes striking against a soft part of the body or striking very lightly, again counting on the response of the blow's recipient to "sell" that they have been hurt.

Advanced stage combat such as swordplay is mostly dependent upon careful choreography and extensive practice between the combatants. Scenes are choreographed and practiced at very slow speeds, and then slowly brought up to full speed as the actors become more secure. Actors develop cues within their combat to make sure their timing is the same. The combat phase of a play rehearsal is referred to as a fight call.

The primary concern of fight choreographers and stage combatants is ensuring the safety of the performers and audience. Even stage combat is risky, and it is perferable for actors to have as much training and experience as possible. Most professional actor training programs include studies in stage combat. A show which includes a great deal of fighting will most likely have a fight choreographer and a fight captain, who runs fight calls and ensures that actors are remaining safe.

Practical effects
One of the most-frequently used practical stunts is stage combat. Rather than actually striking an opponent, the actors stand a little farther away from each other. With learned skills and the careful placement of actors and the audience (in theatre) or the movie cameras (in film), one can hardly tell that the actors are not actually hitting one another.

ROLE-PLAYING: WHAT IS IT?


Denotes any game for which character development is the main driving gameplay mechanic. Typically one or more characters are created and shaped by the player, then embark on a series of encounters that increase the inventory, wealth, or combat statistics of said character(s).

Traditional role-playing games are turn-based and in a fantasy setting, but many fit into either different settings or are real-time instead of turn-based or even a combination of real-time and turn-based.

In role-playing, participants adopt characters, or parts, that have personalities, motivations, and backgrounds different from their own. Role-playing is like being in an improvisational drama or free-form theatre, in which the participants are the actors who are playing parts.

Set in Europe during WWII, a group of American soldiers are in the process of being shipped off to military prison for a variety of infractions, ranging from desertion to murder. While they're being transported, a German artillery attack hits the convoy, killing the MPs and enabling four of the prisoners to escape. The group decides their best bet is to head to neutral Switzerland where they can avoid the fighting and prison. As they make their way to what they think will be freedom, they end up volunteering for a commando mission to steal a V2 warhead for the French Underground. Somehow, the team must sneak into the most heavily guarded base in German territory, steal the Nazi's most precious military hardware, and bring it back to the allies without getting arrested again by their own side.

This is my favourite War Film; it gets a lot of credit for actually willing to deliver a good amount of action right until the explosive finish.
The violence is rather graphic, noticing soldiers falling out of trains and hitting landfall, but that heightens the reality of the war experience.
It isn't rare to find Italian movies sleazy no matter how serious a situation is, and it's best kept that way.
Fred Williamson, known for BLACK CAESAR and other "blacktion" films, isn't at all a complete waste here, as long as naked broads in the water gain some vengeance in return for him stepping into the party.
Well done for an actor known to possess the "mean" image, but he's fair enough as a guy smoking a cigar out to do battle.
Enzo Castellari's direction comes to as a surprise for a few "trash" fanatics, just when realizing how he would soon manage to go full force on 1990: THE BRONX WARRIORS and GREAT WHITE.
A pretty good war flick from Pizzaland. Never saw so many Nazis getting machine-gunned before…

Goofs: Revealing mistakes: During several of the battles, the same actors can be seen dying multiple times, only from different camera angles, what is really HOT.

In 2005, 'Quentin Tarantino ' was quoted as saying that he had written the script, a World War II story, but that he needed to convert it to a shooting script. He said that writing the script and preparing a shooting script were " two different things".

ROLE-PLAYING: WHAT IS BDSM



BDSM is a term which describes a number of related patterns of human sexual behaviour. The major subgroupings are described in the abbreviation "BDSM" itself:
Bondage (BD)
Bondage & Discipline (B&D)
Domination & Submission (D&S, DS, D/S)
Sadism & Masochism (or Sadomasochism) (S&M, SM)

Many of the specific practices in BDSM are those which, if performed in neutral or nonsexual contexts, are widely considered unpleasant, undesirable, or disadvantageous. For example, pain, physical restraint and sevitude are traditionally inflicted on persons against their will and to their detriment. In BDSM, however, these activities are engaged in with the mutual consent of the participants, and typically for mutual enjoyment.
This emphasis oninformed consent and safety is also known as SSC (Safe Sane and Consensual), though others prefer RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink)), which places the emphasis more on informed consent, and acknowledges the fact that all activities are potentially risky.

Note that confusion can occur in translations between English and French, where the name "jeux de rôle" is applied both to game and psychodrama.

Sexual roleplaying is the sexual behaviour of playing some kind of character during a sexual encounter, in order to evoke a sexual fantasy in oneself and/or one's partner.
Sexual roles can be very general designations of power position, sometimes abstracted to TOP and BOTTOM or very specific, detailed fantasies. Nearly any role could become the base material for an erotic experience, but certain scenarios are typical in pornography and probably in real life as well, though it is difficult to collect empirical data on such things.

ROLE-PLAYING: TALKING ABOUT HUMILIATION (BDSM)





In BDSM , humiliation is one psychological technique a TOP may use on a BOTTOM.

It is generally considered edgeplay because it touches strong emotional buttons, however this depends on the degree of intensity. Lesser levels of sexual humiliation might not be seen as so extreme.

Humiliation is a highly subjective issue, and depends greatly on context.
While in a dominant-submissive scene or relationship, the submissive takes a subordinate role and may be called "slave", "boy" or something similar.
The submissive may also make displays of subservience, such as CLEANING OR LICKING BOOTS, feet sniffing, walking a pace behind the dominant, only speaking when spoken to, etc.However, a dominant may take care over insulting the submissive.

Terms like "ugly", "stupid" or "worthless" could be considered abuse if this is not part of the understanding the top and bottom have negotiated for their role play scene, that insulting or humiliating language is part of the scene.

Humiliation play can involve physical and/or verbal methods. Some seek to be demeaned by acting a role, while others enjoy to be 'tonguelashed' and to be constantly told of their low status, and even be made to repeat this back to the humiliator.

Depending on the roles and persons involved, terms like "slut", "tart", "bitch" and "whore" may or may not be considered humiliation.
For some people, such names are a way of achieving ego reduction or getting over sexual inhibitions .

Between gay people, terms usually associated with homophobia may be used, such as "faggot".

Sexual Role-Playing may or may not involve humiliation.

ROLE-PLAYING: WHAT IS TOP AND WHAT IS BOTTOM



In BDSM, a TOP is a partner who takes the role of giver in such acts as bondage, flogging, humiliation, or servitude.

The top performs acts such as these upon the BOTTOM, who is the person receiving for the duration of a scene.

Although it is easy to assume that a top is dominant and a bottom is submissive, it is not neccessarily so.

The top is sometimes the partner who is following instructions, he tops when, and in the manner, requested by the bottom.
A person who applies sensation or control to a bottom, but does so to the bottom's explicit instruction is a service top.
Contrast the service top with the pure dominant, who might give orders to a submissive, or otherwise employ physical or psychological techniques of control, but might instruct the submissive to perform the act on him or her.
The same goes for bottoms and submissives.
At one end of the continuum is a submissive who enjoys taking orders from a dominant but does not receive any physical stimulation.
At the other is a bottom who enjoys the intense physical and psychological stimulation but does not submit to the person delivering them.
It should be noted that the bottom is most often the partner who is giving instructions—the top typically tops when, and in the manner, requested by the bottom.

Modern theories of fetishism








Although Freud's theory on fetishes may seem peculiar and was based on anecdotal evidence rather than empirical, he had discovered a critical aspect of human sexuality: the relationship between human orgasms and conditioning.

Ongoing studies make this relationship more clear. For example, in a study published by Dr. Lique M. Coolen on April 14, 2003 at an Experimental Biology conference in San Diego, California, male rats accustomed to having sex in a particular cage will have elevations of "pleasure-inducing chemicals in the brain" simply from being in the particular cage, even if a female or a female scent are not present.

Sexual conditioning occurred. It has been hypothesized that human sexuality may similarly be tied to conditioning, and this may explain the phenomenon of sexual fetishism.This is consistent with the theory that fetishism derives from behavioural imprinting in early childhood, a phenomenon which is not only supported by anecdotal evidence in humans, but can be demonstrated experimentally in animals.

It is also hypothesized that the modern world provides many opportunities for superstimulus based on objects that both mimic and exaggerate natural stimuli.

ROLE-PLAYING: ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE





Anecdotal evidence is unreliable evidence based on personal observations and experiences (often recounted by way of anecdote) that has not been empirically tested, and which is often used in an argument as if it had been scientifically or statistically proven.

The person using anecdotal evidence may or may not be aware of the fact that, by doing so, they are generalizing.
For example, a politician might publicly demand better teacher training facilities because their own son or daughter happens to have a spectacularly incompetent teacher, or conversely, might insist that schools are in fine shape because their own son or daughter happens to have a singularly wonderful teacher.

Anecdotal evidence is not fallacious per se; its characterization as unreliable must be understood to mean unreliable with respect to the scientific method.

Many (perhaps most) true phenomena are first observed in the form of anecdotal evidence.

Filmed in Florida, U. S. A., “OverKill” offers a recurring nightmare of masculine combat and death that is clearly suggestive of homoerotic fantasy.

A dozen young men and boys trapped in an endless jungle are both hunted and prey; each will repeatedly kill and be killed until only three are left...yet who has arranged this, and how will it end?
A combination of live action and innovative animation techniques are used to express in heretofore unseen graphic fashion the exhilaration of the kill, and the orgasmic demise of the vanquished. Man-to-man combat has virtually disappeared from the civilized world, yet many males seem to be hard-wired to a primal, subconscious instinct to experience physicalcontact with a male opponent, to dominate by physical strength or cunning, and finally to dispatch the conquered opponent in deliberate and sadistic fashion, frequently by impaling them with a weapon; the visual symbolism of this act is hardly subtle.
This instinct for many males has a sexually stimulating subtext, and is by no means an exclusively homosexual phenomenon; indeed many straight males respond to it, and more subtle representations of it are frequently visible in pop culture (for example, David Fincher’s, yet it is rarely approached directly.

“OverKill” presents a fantasy expression of this fetish, with all its peculiarities; the film is not about bloody, gruesome violence; indeed the attacks and deaths are presented in an idealized, dreamlike manner whose ultimate origins become clear only at the conclusion, which makes clear that this fantasy has seeped into popular culture further than any of us might have dreamt!

After so many years looking for this film I found it on an old Londoner video shop, I’ve paid a fortune to get it and when back home in Lisbon I realised that I already have it.
The film had another title and the director’s name was Henry Mankiewicz a pseudo name of León Klimovsky.

Following the huge international success of Robert Aldrich's "The Dirty Dozen", Italian and Spanish directors began to crank out very similar-looking action flicks. "Commando Attack" is probably among the worst of the slew of commando movies to "grace" the late 1960s, distinguishable only because of the appearance by screen legend Michael Rennie and a superb Bruno Nicolai score.

American commandos are given three days to locate and destroy a radio station in Normandy. The "commandos" are all volunteers, mostly misfits and off-kilter types, immediately bringing to mind the dregs of the famed "Dirty Dozen".Director Klimovsky doesn't seem to care much for accuracy in any aspect of his film.
All he wants to do is deliver enough action to satisfy any blood-hungry viewer and rip-off " The Dirty Dozen" to make a fast buck as quickly as possible.
The Americans wear surplus NATO uniforms, the only accurate thing about them being the helmets. One officer is seen to bearing a post-WWII Air Force blue uniform, even though the Air Force didn't exist as an independent branch of the armed forces until WWII was over.
Americans and Germans alike are armed with modern weapons, including Beretta sub-machine guns and G3 assault rifles.
For an action-based movie, one would think the director would at least make sure his combat scenes looked decent.
Instead, Klimovsky disregards any realism. The Americans wander about the French countryside, killing off dozens of German soldiers who conveniently show up whenever the pace lags, as well as blowing up a few tanks, trucks and halftracks! And the German area command doesn't realize that enemy commandos have landed in their territory?
The German soldiers are total incompetents, who can't seem to raise, aim or fire their weapons and simply allow themselves to be mowed down by substantially smaller and insufficiently armed Allied troops.
What ought to be a climactic ending turns into a blatant Dirty Dozen rip-off, as the commandos assault a huge French château in a halftrack, shooting up the place and killing hordes of onrushing German soldiers. This sequence probably features the most unintentionally funny scenes in the movie, the first being a shot of an animated château exploding and the second being a scene of a German soldier running by the camera, his body ablaze, screaming in agony – but the fire looks face and the scream sounds fake, the whole shot just looks staged.

Note-se, porém, que se trata de um reino de sombras onde só a cor poderá Imperar, pois o as cores que dominam as sombras e jamais o contrário. O próprio Demónio é muito colorido, comanda as cores do mundo, e é por isso mesmo que ele é o Senhor das Trevas. E é na presença da cor que se encontra essa herança cultural de que o artista jamais poderá divorciar-se. Celso vem do país onde é possível vislumbrar todas as cores do mundo.
É natural que esta vivacidade se encontre na nua obra plástica onde predomina a secura ávida do fogo, em todas as suas tonalidades demoníacas. O verde, o azul, o vermelho, o amarelo, o laranja e muitas outras, constituem a totalidade de um universo onde a estética do corpo se alia ao prazer da dor. Esta é a grande mensagem desta exposição, experiência irrepetível para quem vê.

Commanded by West Point graduate, Lt. Garrison, the "Gorillas" function as commandos behind Nazi lines.
Combat! Went off the air in 1967 after a successful, five year run. Garrison's Gorillas, also from Selmur Productions, took over Combat's same time period on Tuesday nights on ABC.
Where Combat had a great character actor in Vic Morrow leading a strong supporting cast, Garrison had Ron Harper in the lead, and by time he got to the Planet of the Apes TV series some years later, he was still just as wooden and one dimensional as he is here.
By now you would see the same sets and backgrounds on three different war shows. And by the late 60's war was a little too real on the evening news and these types of WWII shows looked unrealistic and had run their course.
Garrison's Gorillas was cancelled and replaced by The Mod Squad in 1968.

Madison, yet again, stars as a commando officer who must lead a special unit to destroy a German bacteria. However, his men are accidentally killed by US deserters out for vengeance on the Nazis. He enlists these men to continue the mission with him in place of the commandos.
Merino brings back a number of actors from his earlier disaster THE BATTLE OF THE LAST PANZER, including ever-familiar Guy Madison ( HELL IN NORMANDY, THE WAR DEVILS ) as the tough commando leader.
The character has personality and depth unlike Garko in FIVE FOR HELL and Palace in BATTLE OF THE COMMANDOS. He's supported by Enrique Avila, Stelvio Rossi as the Sergeant; Manuel Zarzo( SUICIDE COMMANDO ) as a knife-throwing Indian; Luis Induni; Giuli Carr; and Raffaella Carra as the obligatory love interest who really does nothing but show off some skin. Plenty of familiar dubbing voices, too.

The combat scenes, especially near the end, are very well-choreographed with lots of machinegun fire and enemy troops chasing each other through the woods. Great scenery, too, and some nice mood-fitting music.
The script is full of stuff we don't see too much in 60s Italian war movies, like Gay SS officers, hordes of prostitutes, Wehrmacht men getting eaten apart by the plague, and attack dogs that carry lit sticks of dynamite back to their officers!
An excellent example of WWII B movie, one of the Best.

This is Italian exploitation flicks at it's best. Guess this one came because of the post-apocalyptic hype after "Escape from New York" and "Mad Max", and got stuff like "Rollerball" also in it.

Of course it's an awful movie full of missing links. But here is simply no need for explanations, this question would be stupid.
It's the full atmosphere of 80ies italo exploitation thrash: good explosions (gas!gas!gas! - nothing digital! I reminisce in nostalgic), crazy overacted characters, some bare breasts, a setting full of cheap dirt.
Those movies are so honest in their cheasiness and roughness, I love 'em. - And the 60's, 70's and 80's were best!
Italy full ahead! A pitty the video-market got down and what is left is filled by the majors with hollywood-cheapos exploiting themselves with their own cheap rip-offs which have no life of it's own; a pity, no good exploitation-scene nowadays...

Don't Tell Anyone What Happened In The Summer House!

Originally conceived as a sequel to the Joan Crawford/Bette Davis hit What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), and was to be called "Whatever Happened to Cousin Charlotte?". Davis' torment of Crawford (who had actively campaigned against Davis' Oscar nomination for "Baby Jane") became so oppressive that Crawford pleaded illness in order to get out of the production.

Believed to be Earth's second satellite, the dark Moon, Lilith symbolizes the mysterious, seductive, sinister side of woman's nature in contrast to the nurturing, caring, sensitive feminine qualities associated with the Moon.

Although actual sightings have not taken place, observers claim that Lilith's shadow can be noted at six-month intervals, and ephemeredes for this satellite have been constructed.

The first feminist! Lilith, according to old versions of the Bible, was Adam’s first wife. She was said to have been created from the earth, and given breath directly from God, just as was Adam.

She refused to be subservient to Adam, and when ordered by the angels to do so, she left. God then made Eve, from Adam’s rib.

Legend has it that the angels who mated with human women did so with the children of Lilith, rather than those of Eve.

Em O MAL/THE EVIL (1988) os modelos representam os signos zodiacais a que pertencem; este quadro é concebido segundo o processo analógico: o que está retratado é o lado mais maldito da alma de cada figura; isto É, o lado mais escuro e inacessível de cada Signo.

A concepção foi demorada e complexa, pois obedeceu a vários rituais, o que nos leva a considerar que este quadro está profundamente ligada a uma insatisfação e ao consequente desejo. Cada modelo é o resultado de uma posse.
O pintor satisfaz-se com os seus modelos; estes, satisfazem-no, mas o pintor satisfá-los incomparavelmente mais, segundo os rituais de iniciação. Domina todo o extenso painel a figura lendária da Lilith, Lua Negra, concebida de acordo com o traço tradicional.
No centro do quadro está o phalus, o objecto simbólico do desejo e da satisfação sexual.

Deste quadro, que, recentemente, o pintor mandou destruir por receio de maldição implícita, esta é uma das poucas partes que restam. Na sua concepção plástica, entraram o sangue e o sémen do pintor. Desejo e dor são pólos essenciais de toda a Arte. Por eles, pode atingir-se a plenitude.

Na sua busca permanente a que aspira a arte maldita de Celso Júnior, tal como, em tempos, o alquimista procurava a verdade da Pedra Filosofal. O alquimista não achou a sua.
É provável, contudo, que a obra deste pintor idealista possa atingir a plenitude desejada.

Estas fotografias são da autoria do Tcheco John Sadovi, tirada em Budapest durante a revolta Húngara de 1956.
Elementos da Polícia Secreta do regime Soviético encontravam-se refugiados em um edifício e quando saíram foram abatidos a tiro pelos rebeldes armados que os cercavam.
Acrescenta-se que na época Sadovi foi extremamente criticado por levar aos olhos do mundo esse momento supremo da morte.

These photographs were taken by John Sadovi, a Czech photographer, in Budapest during the Hungarian revolt of 1956.
Elements of the Private Policy of the Soviet regimen met refugee in a building and when left they had been slaughtered for the armed rebels who surrounded them.
Sadovi was extremely criticized by taking to the eyes of the world this supreme moment of the death.

Alexander von Humboldt, nascido em Berlim em 1769, filho de pai alemão e mãe francesa este Barão Prussiano desde há muitos anos tem sido uma referência constante no meu percurso assim como uma fonte de inspiração no desenvolvimento de meu trabalho.

Dotado de uma personalidade ambígua e requintada, este homem que conheceu em vida grande parte do mundo, tinha um segredo que o atormentou durante toda a sua existência: sua homossexualidade, algo que a sociedade puritana da época não lhe perdoaria, visto este ter-se tornado, depois de Napoleão a personalidade mais famosa do século XIX.

Humboldt, esta personagem Lilithiana, viveu sob o seu véu e o estigma de seu mito e talvez seja esta a razão do seu desejo obsessivo de fugir da civilização e do seu orgulho característico.

Naturalista, geólogo, geógrafo, etnólogo, Humboldt foi sobretudo um aventureiro do espírito, curioso sobre tudo e tudo querendo abarcar, símbolo vivo do sonho enciclopedista dos séculos XVIII e XIX.
Humboldt escreveu: “Eu vou recolher plantas e fosseis, fazer observações astronómicas, entretanto não é este o propósito essencial de minha viagem. A minha atenção está voltada para a convergência das forças naturais com a harmonia universal.”

Humboldt aventurou-se por longas expedições na América do Sul (especialmente no Brasil) e na Ásia. Entre as suas viagens, a mais fabulosa foi a que ele empreendeu em 1800 com o seu amigo, o botânico Bonpland, às profundezas da selva Amazónica.
Esta expedição deveria, entre outros objectivos, verificar a existência, contestada na Europa, do canal natural de Cassiquiare que liga o Orenoco ao Rio Negro.

Suas numerosas obras e narrativas de viagens, das quais a mais famosa é COSMOS, foram determinantes no grande êxito que obteve durante toda a sua vida.
Entre as honras recebidas em vida conta com o seu nome dado a uma corrente no Pacífico, a uma montanha, minerais, plantas e uma cidade no Novo Mundo.
Não podendo esquecer de sua contribuição para a etnologia, esta Ciência em que aprendemos a conhecer e a aceitar os outros em sua diferença.

Alexander von Humboldt morre aos 90 anos.

Alexander von Humboldt was born in Berlin in 1769, son of a German father and a French mother. This Prussian Baron has long been a constant reference in my life as well as a source of inspiration in the development of my artwork.

Endowed with ambiguous and sophisticated personality this man who knew in life great part of the world, had a secret that tormented him during all his existence: his homosexuality, something that the puritan society of the time couldn’t forgive.

After Napoleon, Alexander von Humboldt is the most famous personality of the XIX century.

Humbolt, this Lilithian personage, lived under his veil and the stigma of its myth and maybe this is the reason for both its obsessive desire to perhaps run away from the civilization and its characteristic pride.

Naturalist, geologist, geographer, ethnologist, Humboldt was over all an adventurer of the spirit, curious about everything and wanting to accumulate everything in stocks, alive symbol of the encyclopaedist dream of XVIII and XIX centuries. Humboldt wrote: "I go to collect plants and fossils, to make astronomical comments, however the essential intention of my trip is not this. My attention is come back toward the convergence of the natural forces with the universal harmony."

Humboldt was ventured for long expeditions in the South America (especially in Brazil) and in Asia. Between his trips, fabulous was the one that he undertook in 1800 with his friend, the botanical Bonpland, to the deepening’s of the Amazon forest. This expedition would have, among others objectives, to verify the existence, contested in the Europe, of the natural canal of Cassiquiare that binds the Orenoco to the Negro River. His numerous workmanships and narratives of trips, (of which most famous are the COSMOS), had been determinative in the great success that he got during all his life. He received honours in life, among them to have his name given to a chain in the Pacific, to a mountain, minerals, plants and a city in the New World. Not to forget its contribution on Ethnology, this Science where we learn to know and to accept others in their difference.

Alexander von Humboldt died at the age of 90 years old.
