Reference Music: III: LA FORZA DEL DESTINO by Verdi

Definitely my favourite of Verdi’s Operas. In fact I’m not really into Verdi at all but in La Forza del Destino the interaction of morbid drama with religion is fantastic. Music is marvellous and suit very well the story.
Lots of misunderstandings, deaths, disgraceful destinies converging thru a delicious masterpiece.
