Incidente em Antares was the last romance written by Érico Veríssimo (1971) and approaches the thematic of the fantastic and the supernatural.
On a Friday 13th, in 1963, seven people died in Antares. As the gravediggers were on strike the deceased start to walk around in the city, disturbing the privacy of relatives and friends. Thanks to their condition of ghosts they could make this without fearing retaliation.
