OBJECTS: LA TOUR EIFFEL

Nunca, jamais existiu um monumento que mais me fascinasse e encantasse que aTorre Eiffel, lembrança ancestral, via-a pela primeira vez em 01 de Janeiro de 1982.
Se um dia escrever uma auto-biografia terei de contar ao pormenor a estranha experiência que lá vivi em 1989 onde após anos ligados a Arte e ao conceito do Belo, venho alí, perceber este mesmo conceito na sua totalidade, reescrevendo assim o conceito de Hume que reza que o Belo está no olhar do Espectador e não no objecto em si.
Aliás, já vivi muita coisa engraçada e bizarra na Torre Eiffel, muitas histórias para lembrar e contar.
Gosto de objectos e acho que vou abrir uma secção neste blog para mostrar meus objectos prediletos.
Começamos por esta torrezinha de metal barato...

Never a monument both fascinated and enchanted me more than The Eiffel Tower, ancestral souvenir, I saw it for the first time on January the 1st 1982.
If one day I decide to write an auto-biography, I will have to describe in detail the strange experience I lived there in 1989, when, after years dealing with Art and the concept of Beauty, I was faced there with those concepts it their totality, thus rewriting the Hume’s notion that Beauty lays in the Spectator’s eye and not in the object itself.
By the way, I’ve lived many funny and bizarre situations at the Eiffel Tower, many stories to remember and recount.
I like objects and I think I will open a section in this blog to show my favourite ones. I’ll start with this little cheap metal tower...
